Privacy notice

Clear choices for enquiries and marketing.

This notice explains how Arkworth Partners uses information submitted through the website, including the separate optional choice to receive future biofuels intelligence and product communications.

01 · Who we are

Arkworth Partners is responsible for the website enquiry data it receives.

Arkworth Partners is an independent UK biofuels commodities intelligence business. This notice applies to the public website, enquiries about Arkworth Balance and the optional marketing consent presented within the enquiry form.

02 · What we collect

Only the information needed to understand and respond to the request.

The website form may collect your name, work email address, company, desk or team and markets or coverage of interest. It also records technical context that helps Arkworth understand the source of the enquiry, such as the page, referrer, campaign parameters, the CTA used and the time the form was started.

If you select the optional marketing box, the form records that choice, the consent wording version and the time the consent was recorded. Hosting and form providers may also process standard security, server and submission logs.

03 · Why we use it

Enquiry handling and marketing are treated as different purposes.

Responding to your enquiry

To understand your desk and markets, send relevant product information, arrange a protected review or walkthrough, discuss access and maintain appropriate business enquiry records.

Optional marketing

To send occasional Arkworth Partners biofuels intelligence, product updates and invitations where you have actively selected the separate marketing box.

The intended basis for handling a professional product enquiry is Arkworth Partners’ legitimate interest in responding to the request and, where relevant, taking steps requested before a potential contract. The basis for optional email marketing collected through this form is your consent.

04 · Marketing choice

The marketing box is optional, separate and unticked.

You can submit an enquiry without agreeing to marketing. Selecting the box means you would like to receive occasional Arkworth Partners biofuels intelligence, product updates and invitations by email.

You can withdraw that choice at any time by using the unsubscribe option included in a marketing email or by asking Arkworth Partners through an existing business communication. Withdrawing consent does not affect the handling of an earlier enquiry or the lawfulness of marketing sent before withdrawal.

No bundled consent: declining marketing does not prevent you from receiving the product information you requested.

05 · Sharing and service providers

Information is not sold as a contact list.

Information may be processed by providers supporting website hosting, form delivery, security, business communications and record management. The current site is prepared for Netlify hosting and Netlify Forms. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal rights.

Arkworth Partners does not sell website enquiry details to third parties for their independent marketing.

06 · Retention and security

Records are retained only for a proportionate business purpose.

Enquiry records may be retained for a reasonable period to manage the request, follow-up, potential contracting, business records and legal or security requirements. Marketing records are retained while the consent remains relevant, subject to suppression records needed to respect an unsubscribe request.

Reasonable organisational and technical measures are used to restrict access and protect information. No online transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

07 · Your rights

You may have rights over the personal information held about you.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability, and to withdraw consent where consent is used. You may also raise a concern with the UK supervisory authority.

To raise a privacy request, use the website enquiry route and make clear that the message concerns privacy, or use the contact details supplied in an existing Arkworth Partners communication or contract document.

08 · Cookies and website measurement

The current public build does not deploy non-essential advertising or analytics cookies.

The site uses necessary browser and server functions to deliver pages, protect forms and process submissions. The current build contains event hooks that can support future measurement but does not itself load a third-party analytics platform. If non-essential cookies or materially different analytics are introduced, the website notice and consent controls should be updated before use.
